Name Notes as You PlayDavid Raleigh ArnoldPages 12 and 13 are great for learning your notes. That was exactly their purpose. Play them very slowly and name the notes as you play them. Do whatever you have to do to keep it slow. You might count 8ths: e and f and g and a and etc. or sixteenth notes: c ka ta ka g ka ta ka a ka ta ka b ka ta ka etc. or 32nd notes: e ka ta ka and ka ta ka f ka etc. When you come to f♯ name it as “f-sharp”.
