You may find this chart handy. Cut or fold it to suit. The double bars mark the seventh and twelfth frets. You know the notes above the twelfth fret, because the twelfth is at the octave and so the notes repeat, as you can see. You learned the notes at the fifth fret when you learned to tune one string from another. What' left are the notes from the seventh through tenth frets. Not so bad. ☺

I have reformatted my old easy chord chart. It’s far from ideal, but it’s less gnarly than the chords in the Ten Lessons.
